Most require you to hold down the ALT key whilst typing the letters after the + sign (they don’t need to be capitals).
Enterprise Activation (Options->Advanced)
ALT+CNFG – Settings for Enterprise Activation
Address Book
ALT+VALD – Validate the data structure and look for inconsistencies
ALT+RBLD – Force a data structure rebuild
from the Options menu, type the following (No ALT+ required)
RSET – Will prompt to erase & reload for a reload of the Address book from the BES
(n.b. this will wipe all entries, but you can goto SIM Phone Book & copy entries back afterwards)

How to extend the battery life of Blackberry


A battery life depends on how you are using your BlackBerry device. To help the battery last longer, here I Provide ways to cope:


  • Set your BlackBerry  device to turn on and off automatically. Set up your BlackBerry for On / Off automatically, so your Blackberry batteries will last longer.
How: Go to the Options menu> Devices> Auto On / Off.

  • Set backlighting to remain alive for a short time, and lower the light power.

How: Enable Home Screen and then click the Options menu> Screen and Keyboard> Screen Display.


  • Turn off your network connection if youre not using it anymore
How: On the Home screen, click Manage Connections, then set according to your requirements, with a checklist or eliminate the signs gave the checklist on each  connection.



  • Close applications that are not used anymore,
How: our habits after using a particular application is to press the back button, but by pressing the back button the application will still be the way, so well BlackBerry batteries run out quickly.
